I have painted my whole life. I live in Espoo, but I come from Ostrobothnia. After my graduation from Alfa Art I have been studying portrait painting in Alfa art several years according to old masters style. Oil and acryl are near my heart. My paintings are often connected with Ostrobothnia in my childhood and youth. I want to paint a simplified reality where people will find themselves at home. The aim with my painting is that one should be able to dive into the painting and feel captured by its atmosphere. At best one should smile and think: this is a fun picture. I would like to simplify our complicated world so that the spectator will understand it better.
