Life on a Leaf (2009), a house in the form of a leaf, is a total artwork by artist Jan-Erik Andersson. The house is an artists’ and researchers’ recidency as well as a place to visit to have meetings. It also hosts events infrequently.

Welcome to visit the Leaf house! Artist Jan-Erik Andersson, graphic designer Marjo Malin and the Life on a Leaf team will be your discussion guides. 15 people will be admitted at a time.

Driving directions

The house can be reached from Turku city center by buses 51 and 53 - as well as by other buses that stop in Hirvensalo at 1.4 km walking distance. By bike, the distance from the center is about 6 km. There is space for only a couple of cars in the yard.
