I am interested in the juxtaposition of art, handicrafts and industrial products, the dialogue between them. The juxtaposition of inspired new and old, broken and intact, also in an intangible sense. Maybe that's why I'm working on different art-oriented projects at the same time. Art is freer, design has stricter limits. The holistic understanding of art and challenging one's own artistic language also inspire me.
My studio in an inspiring mansion setting invites you to get to know my art, including my innovative hand-tufted Reblok interior textile concept. In addition to art, you will get to know the Finland-Japan project, which involves the Japanese Saori looms and the ideology of expressive weaving. On the lower floor of the manor's barn, there is an Anesama doll workshop for children.
You can get to Oitbacka manor with your own car, the nearest traffic point from the direction of Espoo is Kauklahti, from where the Lappböle beach road goes to Oitbacka, about 5 km. Kyrkslätt Masala's buses rarely come near Oitbacka mansion.
