Information about the artist / the group

I have been working at Karhusaari since 2009. Here
I have found my own peace and space to paint and collect my creativity.
As a place, Karhusaari is an ideal working environment for me because of its authenticity, it is fascinating how history and nature live here in their own peace alongside the urban environment.
When I paint, I want to be open to what truly needs to come out.
Painting is the most natural form of expression for me and the painting process itself gives me the opportunity to get in touch with the inner essence of things.
In addition to my own artistic work, I also work as a digital art and drawing and painting teacher in Espoo and Kauniainen art schools.
During the event, I will present my works with discussing in my studio in Hevosmientalo, Karhusaari.

Program during Konstrundan

I will be present in my studio where I will introduce the space and talk about my work and my art. There will also be an exhibition with Marja Maljonen and Susanna Suikkari in the entrance hall of the Horseman's House.

Driving directions

The Karhusaari parking lot is located in the parking lot of the Laguuni Keilis water sports centre, which is a good 100-metre walk to the horseman's house via a pedestrian tunnel towards Helsinki.

The nearest metro stations are Keilaniemi and Koivusaari, both of which are about 1.5 km away on foot.

You can also easily get there along the Länsiväylkä walking and cycling paths, or via the Espoo Rantarait. Nearest City Bike Stations Keilaniemi and Hanasaari
