Drawing, Others, Painting, Precious metals and jewellery art, Visual arts
My artistic work can be summed up as a drop of ink falling on damp paper, its strands subtly expanding in many directions; those strands can take the form of ink drawings, paintings, poetry, photography, or even a figure of a fish standing on its own two feet. Whatever the technique, my works are united by the same spirit. My works transport the viewer to the phenomenal worlds of (human) nature and even deeper, beyond them.
I live and work in a place surrounded by forests and field islands, which my spouse and I call the Firewood Kingdom - home to the diversity of art and nature! Nature and the silence it offers are important to me in making art. Already my childhood years on my home island of Kaskis taught me to appreciate the importance of silence in creation.
My art, from figurines to paintings, is on display both in BirdWayn Taidetuva and along Tulipuuvaltakunta, including the old mouth of the courtyard. My poetry canvases, which can withstand the rainy weather, can be found in the garden and nearby woods. Nature is an art in itself, which is why Tulipuuvaltakunta is also a place to enjoy its beauty and peace. Visitors also have the opportunity to buy comics, prints or other art treasures that I have made.
The best way to get there is to drive on the 10-road towards Hämeenlinna, until you turn left onto Tiipilänantie towards Tilkainen. Follow Tiipiläntiet for 3 km until you turn left onto Suurilantie (a dirt road). On the sand road you drive less than 1 km. The grey cottage with solar panels in front is our Tulipwood cottage. There is space for 2-3 cars in the yard. If necessary, you can also leave your car on the back road at the edge of the plot.
