Information about the artist / the group

I am Aeon Lux, visual artist, esotericist and metaphysician from Seinäjoki. I work with ceramic sculpture, painting, drawing and performance art.

What exists, how does it exist, and what is the nature of reality? My art-making is driven by the desire to explore reality. I work on these metaphysical questions from an esoteric perspective. My thinking is largely inspired by the thoughts of the left-hand path, such as tantra.

My works are figurative and I am inspired by the beauty of the human body. In my art, I play with the characters' genders, turn archetypes on their head and connect seemingly contradictory themes.

SNEEK PEAK for the exhibition autumn of 2025

The studio has a premiere of my new art works being prepared for the autumn 2025 exhibitions. The materials are e.g. aquarelle, ceramic painting and ceramic sculpture. In 2025, I have no upcoming exhibitions in South Ostrobothnia or Ostrobothnia, so SNEEK PEAK is an opportunity to see my new works before others in my studio.

The studio also has my previous art works for sale, such as aquarelles and ceramics.

Driving directions

From Kalevalantie turn into the yard of the old red-brick locomotive shed. The signpost for the Varikko gallery is on the side of the road and there is a sign on the wall of the building. There are free parking for gallery visitors in front of the windows. The entrance to Varikko gallery is on the left side of the parking. A paved path leads to the red front door. The studio is downstairs in a long corridor, the first door on the right.
