I am a painter who graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in 1989. I paint both small and large oil paintings, in which light and subtle variations in color play a key role in creating a sense of space. The subject of my most recent exhibition at Gallery A2 was a stream from my hometown of Kajaani. I have also painted extensively, inspired by Andalusia in Spain, Egypt, Tanzania, and Morocco. In addition to nature and landscapes, my subjects include architectural forms such as columns, stairs, and water. My paintings are included in the collections of the HAM Art Museum, among others.
