Information about the artist / the group

Visual artist Katja Öhrnberg has worked in painting, sculpture, environmental art, and community art for thirty years. In recent years, she has created eco-active art from household recycled plastics together with performance artist Marko Kaiponen as the artist duo Materiaalivirtaa (Material Flow).

Program during Konstrundan

The home studio features paintings and sculptures made from recycled plastics, as well as photographs of eco-active performances.
During Konstrundan, the artist duo will work on a landscape painting using household recycled plastics. In addition, there will be a performance at 2 PM on both days.
