Information about the artist / the group

My technique is metal graphics – etching, aquatint, and chine collé. While I have found my own preferred techniques, I am constantly exploring others, both traditional and new methods. In recent years, I have found cardboard graphics. I strive to create moods in my images that can be found in nature and in the flow of my thoughts.
For me, making art is thinking and the process of creating. I feel that the task of art is to awaken its viewer to think and to see the world from a new angle. The process reflects my development as an artist. Nature is diverse with its many visual motifs, although I find myself returning repeatedly to birches. There is depth in the world of wood. Birch is like me – warm white, coal black, and the shadows of leaves moving in the wind.
