Information about the artist / the group

I am a visual artist from Espoo. The starting point of my work is nature and the experiences, moods and observations it evokes.
In my works, I examine the forms of nature, light, the change of seasons, and the relationship between the internal and external experience of the landscape.
Colors are also important in my art. Colors are never alone. They can be used to express a range of emotions. They are in relation to each other. They change as soon as they are placed next to another color.

Program during Konstrundan

During the Open Studios event: Introduction and tour of the artist’s studio.
Discussions about art and techniques, Q&A.
Ongoing workshop for children and families, creative crafts and painting, open participation.
Presentation of the artist’s creative process, hands-on activity for participants.
Free exploration and interaction. Coffee and juice served.

Driving directions

By public transport: the nearest metro stations are Koivusaari and Keilaniemi and the Westend bus station, 1,5 km walk.Buses run along Länsiväylä. From the bus stop, it is about 500 m walk to Karhusaari. By car: The Karhusaari parking lot is located in the parking area of the Laguuni Keilinen Water Sports Center; from there, it is a 100-meter walk to the venue via the pedestrian tunnel heading toward Helsinki.
