Pauliina Purhonen is multimaterial contemporary designer (MA). Her work is based on ceramics combined with materials found in nature both of natural and anthropogenic origin. Purhonen is also a member of the Finnish wild clay association Villisaviyhdistys. The relationship between humankind and soil has been a central topic of Pauliina Purhonen’s contemplations in the recent years.
Visitors are welcomed to have a look at our studio and participate to small workshops. Working with wild clay and wheel throwing are demonstrated at the studio. It is also possible to buy studio ceramics from the Artist.
Entrance either through Second Hand Lahti Shop or through the courtyard. The door is located in the corner facing Aleksanterinkatu and Saimaankatu.
