Information about the artist / the group

Nature and life around inspires me and emotions transform into colors. My paintings combine figurative and abstract styles, where colors glow within the surface texture. I paint with acryl colours and also create sculptures and environmental art. I participate annually in environmental art exhibitions as well as solo and group exhibitions. I teach drawing and painting at Salo Kansalaisopisto. I design and take part in various art projects. I also take part professional development courses, for example in sculpture.

Program during Konstrundan

Tarja Seewald and Arja Pykäri, art exhibition "Boundaries", consisting of oil and acrylic paintings. Presentation of artworks, as well as art products for sale. The public and exhibition guests can participate in making a joint painting (size approx. 1mx1m). The painting will be donated to the wall of the Villi Cultural Center. Coffee will be served.
