My techniques are painting, sculpture, installation and multimedia. Often they function together in large reliefs and multimedia in space, for example: Myanndash-river, Fishfamily, Kökaröarna…

The studio has existed sixteen years at Somero Stone Dairy, and the site changed my technical material. Famous Somero clay and local ceramicists allured to ceramic sculpture. The finest moments in life are when you open a pottery kiln, and the results are surprises, admiration, or curses.

However, my basic theme of the studio did not change. The topics come from history, antiquity, long time, deep time. The landscape however introduced new details: the Ice Age Paimio river, the first road in Finland Häme Oxroad and Stone Age Suomusjärvi culture.

Program during Konstrundan

My studio and my own stand at the Somero Kivimeijeri exhibition are a place to visit. The studio operates a primitive pop-up café: coffee and a bun. I work normally during Konstrundan, there are finished and semi-finished works on display, as well as the artist at work.
