Information about the artist / the group

I create visual art in my studio at Taideyhdistys Tapaus. I paint with acrylics in thin, transparent layers as well as thick, built-up surfaces, often working on several paintings at once. I begin intuitively and refine the work through experience and tested themes, always searching for light and shadow. For me, the most important thing is that a painting is beautiful in its own way and remains engaging to look at.
I have been an invited artist at BELA – the European and Latin American Biennial in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (2023–2024, 2025–2026) and Artist of the Month in HTY’s online gallery (2023, 2025). I have participated in Konstrundan 2024–2025 and exhibited internationally by invitation in France, Italy, Spain, Austria, Japan, Brazil, the UK and Canada

Program during Konstrundan

The premises of Taideyhdistys Tapaus include workspaces as well as the Aula Gallery, where artists participating in Konstrundan showcase and discuss their works.
During the Konstrundan weekend last year, we had many interesting conversations about creating art and the process of finishing artworks. There are always some unfinished pieces on display, along with many completed works!
As a demonstration, I can paint together with a visitor using their favorite colors!
