Information about the artist / the group

My inkpen flows across the paper like a free river, exaggerating rich details and combining grotesque animal motifs. Personal and historical imagery emerges through surreal juxtapositions. Beautiful, ugly, and humorous worlds slowly weave together.

I am a visual artist based in Lahti, specializing in large-scale ink drawings. The diversity of today’s world, where there is no single truth, has always guided my artistic work. Although the drawings reflect the estranged relationship between humans and nature, they also pay homage to humans and the diversity of nature. My works have recently been exhibited at the Finlandia Art Gallery in the USA, the Turku Art Museum, and the Taidevaltakunta Biennale in Tampere in the summer of 2026.
