Information about the artist / the group

Petra Kaminen Mosher is a Finnish-American visual artist. She is trained as a painter and textile artist. She works with traditional painting media and Finnish craft techniques such as hand-knotted ryijy weaving and textile surface design. The main theme of her work revolves around the natural world and its phenomena, with a particular focus on plants and fire.

Program during Konstrundan

The artist will be present to talk about her work at this event. Paintings of all sizes and media will be on display along with unique Finnish ryijy rugs, and digitally printed art products such as mugs, bags and t-shirts.

The school building is straight ahead from the gate entrance off of Lossikuja. The studio is on the second floor at the far left end of the corridor.
