Malakta is located in a former dairy factory in Malax. Our motto is ‘Art is for everyone’, which reflects the open and inclusive philosophy of our activities. Malakta offers studios, workshops and an active residency programme where artists from different backgrounds can work and develop on site. Through exhibitions, workshops and collaborations, we create encounters between artists and audiences, both locally and internationally.

Sustainability is a natural part of Malakta's activities – we work with a long-term and inclusive approach, focusing on social and environmental responsibility. At the same time, we want to make it fun and inspiring, where art, creativity and new ideas can flourish for everyone who wants to be involved in creating the cultural life of the future.
