Information about the artist / the group

I have been working as an artist and developing my art for almost three decades. Compiling
narrative works is my language, a way to make my feelings and inner world visible. In my collage
art, I use art historical fragments, old books, photographs and texts. The fictional characters in my
works are created when I ponder the themes of femininity and humanity, as well as in them
related emotional experiences. I make my paintings using mixed media. In addition, I make
assemblies from ecological recycled materials. I am a member of Helsinki Artists' Association and
Roihupello Taidekortteli ry.
