Information about the artist / the group

I am a sculptor. My favorite material is wood. I often add old wooden objects or parts of them, iron machine parts or ceramic parts I made myself to my sculptures. I combine iron, glass, wood, ceramics, hair or horse hair, teeth and bronze. I create unique sculptures where you can see the sameness even if the species is different. Metamorphosis is strongly present in my work, it can happen in the middle of everything.

Program during Konstrundan

On Saturday 5.9. I will be presenting my new studio made after an old barn in my backyard, in connection with the Simonkylä Country Market. There is a small art exhibition and studio presentation as well as a café, and visitors will also get to experience the Simonkylä Country Market, which is growing year by year, in the traditional landscape of old farmhouses. There is no market on Sunday, but the doors of my studio are open.
