Information about the artist / the group

I am a visual artist and art educator based in Espoo, where I have worked as an art teacher since 2006. My work has been shown in both solo and group exhibitions, and my creative process draws strength from personal experiences in dialogue with nature and culture.
My roots are in Eastern Uusimaa. I grew up in Loviisa and spend my summers at my grandmother’s cottage in Strömfors, Kungsböle. The old henhouse there is a place for play and creativity, where I exhibit my paintings alongside with my art‑studying daughters’ textile works and tree sculptures.
