Tania Potapenko is a contemporary figurative artist based in Vantaa. Her work explores the emotional layers of human experience beneath composed exteriors, focusing on moments of inner tension, doubt, and vulnerability expressed through portraiture.

She works primarily with oil painting and also engages in printmaking to broaden her visual language. Tania received academic art training in her adolescence and later pursued a career in corporate finance before returning to painting through BFA studies, private art programmes, and workshops. Her work has been exhibited in Finland and is held in private collections across Europe and the United States.
