Information about the artist / the group
MarjaLeena graduated from the Finnish Academy of Fine Arts (now the Academy of Fine Arts) in 1984 and has been actively working as an artist ever since, holding exhibitions both in Finland and abroad. Her most recent major exhibitions were the Beijing Biennale in January-February 2026 and the Shanghai ArteLaguna Prize in November 2025, to which she was invited by the Venetian Arte Laguna Prize organization.
