Information about the artist / the group

In my sculptures, the classification of animals, people and plants becomes blurred. I deal with emotions, difference and the diversity of nature through imaginary creatures and animal figures.

I work at a calm tempo so that the piece has time to tell who she/he is. I make versatile use of ceramic techniques and work with wood with hand and power tools. Right now I'm learning bronze casting. I am also researching the properties of native wild clay that I dug myself. My passion about learning new skills brings joy and expands the range of means of expression.

I'm a sculptor, ceramic artist and visual art teacher (MA). I founded my own company in 2019 and have worked as a full-time artist since then.

Studio Savea is located at Laippatie 21, in the corner of Laippatie and Levytie, next door to Roihupellon Autokorjaamo car repair, 2nd floor.
It is 900 m from Siilitie metro station to Studio Savea.The HSL application provides route maps and other public transport options.
By car: Itäväylä 170, Roihupelto junction, Sahaajankatu, Laippatie. There is a free parking lot opposite, which often has space on the upper level. Roadside parking is also free.
The elevator can be found on the right side of the courtyard at Levytie 1. Call 0443456765 and I'll pick you up by elevator.
