Li Taiga is a visual artist and cultural worker who grew up in the rural region of Ostrobothnia. Her artistic practice revolves around exploring inner and outer worlds, as well as the principles of being human. Monologues and dialogues—both in nature and with nature—form the core of many of her works. Taiga works extensively with a variety of techniques, including installation, sculpture, film, sound, and drawing. In many of her pieces, visual elements merge with text and poetry. She has a particular interest in cross-disciplinary projects, conceptual ideas, and Dada.
During the Konstrundan weekend, five local cultural workers will present their art at the historic artist home Villa Sveden. Both the main building and the gallery building will be open, as well as the beautiful, lush garden. Coffee and pastries will be available for a small fee.
