Information about the artist / the group

I am a ceramic sculptor based in Jakobstad, Finland. I create hand-built stoneware sculptures inspired by the Ostrobothnian coast and its shifting light.
My work grows from years of observing how nature shapes form: water carving stone, light altering surfaces, seasons leaving their trace. Working with simple strips of clay, I build open, flowing structures that explore the balance between movement and stillness. Each piece develops slowly through an intuitive process guided by material and place.

Program during Konstrundan

During Konstrundan, visitors are welcome to step into my working studio. Finished sculptures and works in progress will be on display, offering insight into my hand-building process. You can see how open, airy forms emerge from simple strips of clay. Selected photographs will also be shown, and I will be present to talk about my work.
