Information about the artist / the group

I have worked as a studio potter since 1972. Mostly I throw functional ceramics. My design is simple and with my own glazes I make my ceramics personal.
During 2022 I worked with a publication for Japanilaisen Kulttuurin Ystävät "Japanilaisen ja suomalaisen keramiikan luovuuden lähteillä". In Autumn 2025 I participated in a group exhibition in Lapua Taidemuseo, "Siltoja ja solmukohtia" suomalaisten taiteilioiden Japani. For the exhibition I made an installation of Japanese garden lights, teas sets and home altars.
