Information about the artist / the group

Lotta is a self-taught artist, designer and teacher. She has been creating her timeless and simple textile prints and motifs since 1996. She is the author of twelve books and has collaborated with many shops, artisans, museums and manufacturers around the world.

“I love working with many different mediums; I paint and print on paper and canvas,  I shape clay, draw with ink and explore egg oil tempera. I create bowls, collages, pillows, bags, screen prints that can be framed and many other inspiring things”

It would be lovely if you come to visit my studio; Learn about my techniques, ask questions, take a peek into my little studio shop and come and try rubber block printing on cards and envelopes. 
We celebrate process rather than perfect results; absolute beginners and experienced artists of all ages are all welcome. Together with illustrator Hannamari Ruohonen, we also offer “fika “

Driving directions

If you are coming from Töftö: At Vårdö church, turn right. Then turn off at the first road on the right: Grundsundavägen. Then drive the entire circular road until you reach a large turning area. You can park there. Follow my signs to my studio
