Making textile art has gone hand in hand with doing other things, and sometimes it has been possible to invest more in it. I graduated in 2008 with a master's degree in art, but I have also worked in the social field and am currently studying to become a socionomist in Pori Diak. Working together and helping others is a meaningful and good counterbalance to making art. Textile materials and colours are paint for me and I try to combine shades so that a new kind of harmony of colours is created when weaving and sewing. Often the end result is the sum of many stages, colors, materials and the work itself begins to tell what it wants to be.
