Eeva-Kaisa Ailus is a visual artist and began her art studies in Stockholm in 1981. She studied at the Svenska Konstskolan in Nykarleby 1983-85 and Ekenäs hantverk-och konstindustriskola 1993-95 (weaver-artisan) and at the Turku Academy of Fine Arts (visuelartist).
Eeva-Kaisa Ailus has held solo exhibitions since 1987 and has actively participated in joint and group exhibitions. She paints with a rough touch and mixes materials boldly. Her colorful palette has a touch of humor.
