Artistry is a process. For me, it means a life-long search, getting to know different art forms and them then encountering my being.
In the last millennium, I declared myself an independent state. With a gesture, I underline my independent female citizenship in my contemporary society as well as my multidisciplinary art work as an independent artist. With my outputs – as I call my works and situations where I present my work and my forms in – I comment on social and societal ties. My field of movement extends from performance art to digital image processing. I aim for an evaluative grasp both with my choice of space and the final shape of the implementation despite the art form.

Program during Konstrundan

The best thing I know is direct, living contact with other people, when it arises from my multi-material, varied in techniques and physical work. I feel personally connected to the idea of Martin Heidegger: A person realizes their authenticity when they develop an activity in the world that makes them feel meaningful. That is why I want to meet people at Konstrundan in my home and, among other things, discuss artists' workspace issues.
