Information about the artist / the group

I am a designer, artist, and craftsperson based in Helsinki. My work is rooted in natural materials, especially clay and wood. The qualities of the material and a deep respect for it guide both my formal language and working process.

My expression is clear and material-driven. Surfaces, structures, and organic forms are central in my work. My inspiration arises from the quiet rhythm and structural beauty of nature.

My studio is located in Munkkiniemi, where I primarily work with ceramics. I also work in a wood workshop, where I create wooden objects and explore combinations of materials. During Konstrundan, I open my studio in Munkkiniemi and present my work and artistic practice.
