Information about the artist / the group

I am a graphic artist and have had studio for 19 years, along with the associated Paja Gallery, which is always open to the public on Fridays. I hold exhibitions, and this year there is an exhibition at Gallery G12 in Helsinki and a retrospective exhibition at the Jyväskylä Art Museum throughout the summer. The exhibition is still open during Konstrundan. At the studio, there are printmaking facilities, and my works from my entire career are on display. I have been awarded both the State Prize and the Finland Prize and have received several annual grants during my career. At the moment, I have an artist's pension but still work full-time.

Program during Konstrundan

The studio gallery is open both on Friday and over the weekend. In the studio, you can view my works in the gallery space, and in the working area, I demonstrate the techniques I am currently using in my work. A big bonus is that my exhibition 'World of Emotions' is open at the museum. Visitors can combine both locations if they wish.
