Information about the artist / the group

Olga Vähä-Piikkiö makes jewellery using silver as the main material. Her company’s name is KuuKyy. As a jeweller, Olga is self-taught. She finds inspiration in nature and materials. In addition to silver, she uses different recycled stone and glass beads and seashells in her unique jewellery.

Olga is also a musician, she studies music technology at the Sibelius Academy of the University of the Arts Helsinki. One of her interests is sound art, and at the moment she is working on finger-fixed sound makers using her skills as a jeweller.
