As an artist, I value beauty and goodness, and I hope these qualities are conveyed through my work. I am deeply inspired by Italy, which has been a significant source of influence in my artistic practice. I am enthusiastic about exploring new materials; however, I primarily work with oil, acrylic, and pastel painting. I often incorporate metal leaf, charcoal, lace, gel printing, and various crackle techniques into my pieces. Old book covers and historical documents are among my favorite materials, though I am equally drawn to the raw texture of concrete as well. I also use photo transfer techniques and create monotypes on black paper. I have worked as a full-time visual artist since 2004.
