Information about the artist / the group

I´m a graphic artist from Espoo, and my studio is located near a park and the sea, along the highway, in Karhusaari, Espoo, in the Horseman´s House, in the laundry room of the idyllic Sinebrychoff Villa. Birds and fish, animals, the sea, nature, and the cycle of nature feature prominently in my work. Humor is an important element in my work. My methods include metal printmaking and various etching techniques, as well as more experimental methods such as cardboard printmaking and monotype. In my work and teaching, I use less harmful printmaking techniques. In recent years, I have become enthusiastic about ceramics and pottery. My works reflect my interest in the design language and culture of Japanese ceramics. I teach printmaking at adult education centers and hold short courses on request
