Information about the artist / the group

Suvi Ärling is one of Luo Collective's 10 artisans who has a workbench at Korkeavuorenkatu 7. She studied goldsmithing in Tammisaari and completed her studies in, among others, Milan and Genoa. Suvi finds the location of Luo Collective's workshop ideal, as she is inspired by urban culture and history. Suvi mainly makes precious metal jewellery in both single pieces and small series, and also accepts commission work. Suvi's passion for jewelry was ignited early on, and she believes that jewelry is a part of the personality of each wearer, a highlight of parties and an everyday companion. At Luo Collective's workshop, you can see the work and products of several jewellery makers, and at the same time explore the magnificent workshop space in the courtyard of the apartment house.

Program during Konstrundan

You can follow my work in my studio both days from 10 am to 5 pm. I will talk to visitors and answer questions from those interested. A workshop may also be organized.
