Petra Streng is a visual artist and art educator working in Porvoo and the founder of Taidekoti Streng. Her primary medium is painting. Her works are often large-scale and depict landscapes and plants as expressions of states of mind. The paintings convey a dreamlike quality, silence and a sense of space. Streng is a member of the Finnish Painters’ Union and serves actively on the board of the Porvoo Artists’ Association. She has held and participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Finland and internationally.

During Konstrundan, visitors can explore Petra Streng’s studio, paintings and Taidekoti Streng. The spaces are located in a late 19th-century Empire building in central Porvoo. High ceilings, old windows and visible layers of time create a calm setting for the artworks. Tea is served. Please note that a cat lives in the home.
