Information about the artist / the group

I am a painter. I create images of the nature I observe and the surrounding landscapes. I have painted the Päijänne scenery extensively—the clouds above it, as well as the plants, birds, and insects along its shores. For the past couple of years, I have focused on underwater views. Additionally, I have submerged objects like plastic bags and flowers frozen in ice to be photographed, using these as a basis for my paintings. My primary technique is oil painting, but I also use watercolor, gouache, and ink. In 2025, I transitioned to using only plastic-free materials.

At Konstrundan, you are welcome to explore my studio, my paintings, and the materials I use. You will have the chance to see works in progress created with various techniques, as well as both new and older finished paintings. I will be sharing insights into my working methods and the techniques I employ. It is also possible to purchase paintings directly on-site. Coffee and refreshments will be served.
