Youngok Kim is an abstract painter based in Helsinki. Her work explores movement, contrast and emotional energy through fluid techniques and layered surfaces. working mainly with acrylics, she creates dynamic compositions where organic forms emerge from spontaneous gestures. The dialogue between black and white, as well as strong color contrasts, play accentual reel in her practice.

During Konstrundan she opens her studio in a historic residential building in central Helsinki, inviting visitors to experience the paintings in an intimate setting.
