Information about the artist / the group
Terhi Heino (born 1970 in Oulu, Finland) graduated from the Department of Sculpture of the Finnish Academy of Fine Arts in 2001, and she has also studied architecture. She uses natural material, organic waste and boidegradable materials , such as fish fins and used tea bags out of which she creates sculptures and larger abstract installations that comment on the transience and fragility of the individual and the environment.
