Noora Kosunen is part of the Lahti-based collective Ateljee 33. Kosunen primarily works with expressive abstract painting, where the process is physical and investigative. Painting becomes an event in which layers are built, broken, revealed, and repaired. The works explore the boundaries of the mind and sensory experience, moving within the tension between control and surrender. The surfaces carry traces of time, touch, and an attempt to understand what does not always yield to words.

Program during Konstrundan

Studio presentation and art exhibition with the opportunity to purchase works. Works by other artists from the Ateljee 33 collective will also be on display. There will be an opportunity to enjoy coffee, tea, and pastry together with the artists.

Driving directions

You can enter either through the gateway on the Saimaankatu side or from Oikokatu. The studio door is located in the inner courtyard at Aleksanterinkatu 33.
