Information about the artist / the group

I graduated with a Master of Arts degree from the Creative Arts Department at Purdue University in 1987 and from Aalto University in 2014. I also completed specialisation studies in painting at the Lahti Art Institute in 2002 and studied dramatic literature and art education at the University of Jyväskylä. I have held solo exhibitions and participated in group and joint exhibitions both in Finland and abroad, including Sweden, Germany and the USA. Techniques: drawing, painting and installation. I have created sets and costumes for performances by several dance and amateur theatre groups in Jyväskylä.

Program during Konstrundan

I show visitors my studio. I tell them about the painting techniques I use and show them my finished paintings. I talk to visitors about art. I offer coffee and tea.
