Information about the artist / the group

Rosa Helin works in painting and ceramics. Her work is guided by an interest in the study of surfaces and materials and the interaction of traditional crafts. Helin graduated from the Turku Academy of Arts in 2019, after which her work was selected in 2021 and 2023 for the finals of the Nordic Carlsberg Foundation Portrait Now! portrait prize competition at the National History Museum of Denmark and in 2025 for the finals of the Jackson’s Art Prize competition in London, England. Helin’s work has been exhibited at Gumbostrand Konst & Form in Sipoo in 2019 and 2024, Aura Gallery in Turku in 2018, 2021, 2022 and 2024, Galleria Duetto in Helsinki in 2025, Turku Art Hall in 2019, Aboa Vetus & Ars Nova in 2017, and the annual exhibitions of the Turku Artists’ Association in 2023 and 2025.
