Information about the artist / the group

Janne Autio, also known as Janneblanco, graduated as a designer from the Lahti Institute of Design in 2022. He is known for his large-scale, spatially transformative artworks, most often painted on recycled roller blinds. His works have been exhibited, for example, at the Habitare Fair in 2023 as part of an installation by the Finnish Design Foundation, as well as in numerous exhibitions and art events since 2020.

Janneblanco’s painting style is colorful, expressive and abstract. The large, empty curtain canvas allows for a meditative state in which the moment of painting is directly reflected in the final result.

Janne works in central Lahti at the Ateljee 33 collective together with a few other creative professionals.

Program during Konstrundan

Studio presentation, art exhibition and an opportunity to purchase artworks. Works by other members of the Ateljee 33 collective will also be on display. Coffee, tea and pastries will be served.

Driving directions

Entrance is through the gateway on the Saimaankatu side or from Oikokatu. The studio entrance is located in the inner courtyard of Aleksanterinkatu 33, in the corner.
