Information about the artist / the group

I am a Finnish visual artist, and oil painting is my quiet language. I paint female figures and children in soft, misty tones where light pauses the moment. Time seems to linger in my works. I also create hazy landscapes and undertake commissioned works. Layered painting builds depth and sensitivity. I have exhibited in Savonlinna during the Oopperajuhlat for 28 summers. At Konstrundan, I wish to meet the viewer face to face.
