Information about the artist / the group

I am a visual artist from Oulu. I have graduated from the University of Lapland with a Master of Arts degree and have also studied at Konsfack in Stockholm and written art criticism for Kaleva. My relationship with painting is immediate and playful. My latest oil paintings combine buildings, rooms and landscapes. The solo exhibition "Landscape Room" compiled from them was on display in Helsinki and Oulu last year. The most important thing for me in painting is the play of colors and shapes and their mutual rhythm. My works are born from a love for painting, my own studio and the freedom of imagination around everyday things.
