Information about the artist / the group

I am a visual artist creative entrepreneur. In addition to being a painter and activist, I participate in the art world as a writer and critic. In addition to art, I write about my travelling, across the oceans and to volcanoes. I have lived in Portsa since 2020. My family roots partly come from here, although I am more global citizen than a Turku native. My maternal line goes to the archipelago. The sea has inspired my painting, along with mountains and human destinies. When I paint historical people, there is a personal dimension involved. I create art from stories, and this is a reason to open my home for Konstrundan. Before Konstrundan I have summer exhibitions in Järvenpää arthouse and Korppoo library.

Program during Konstrundan

Summer and art trails can reach their terminus in Portsa in the 2026 edition of Konstrundan. Beyond the yard market, taking place yearly in August, the door to an artist's home in the wooden houses area is wide open. Some art from friends, mother and grandmother are also displayed. Paintings, cards, cakes, coffee, and vegetarian food cooked in a tiled stove are available for purchase. There is also the possibility of a sauna bath and overnight accommodation for 1-4 people.
