Raimo Jaatinen born 1949
Sculptor living in Helsinki and Nurmijärvi, graduated from the University of Art and Design in 1980. Visiting student at the Department of Sculpture of the Academy of Arts in Krakow in 1975. Workspace in the old Rajamäki yeast factory.
Jaatinen has worked as a teacher of sculpture and art casting courses at, among others, the Pekka Halonen Academy, the State Dental Technician Institute, the Architecture Department of the Helsinki University of Technology, the Academy of Fine Arts, the Finnish-speaking Workers' College of Helsinki and, for the longest time, at the Kuusamo Institute. In 2024, he taught the medal course at the Nurmijärvi Institute. Art caster since 1971. Jaatinen's works are in several art collections. Public works, among others, in Vantaa
