Marko Kaiponen is a multidisciplinary artist whose various fields of practice (architecture, drawing, sculpture, installations, and performances) all contribute to developing an alternative form of life in Finland. He has participated in visual art exhibitions since 1987, and his first performance took place in 1997. In recent years, he has created eco-active art from household recycled plastics together with painter Katja Öhrnberg as the artist duo Materiaalivirtaa (Material Flow).

Program during Konstrundan

The home studio features paintings and sculptures made from recycled plastics, as well as photographs of eco-active performances.
During Konstrundan, the artist duo will work on a landscape painting using household recycled plastics. In addition, there will be a performance at 2 PM on both days.
