Information about the artist / the group

I am a visual artist (MA), printmaker and photographic artist. I live and work in Meri-Lappi, where the sea and river meet, and the rhythms of the northern landscape form the foundation of my practice. In my work, I move between image, thought and ecological awareness. My process is based on observing nature through photography and drawing. I use environmentally conscious printmaking methods, such as mezzotint, and work experimentally with ink on various surfaces. I also create small-scale sculptures in ceramics, paper and wood. Printmaking, painting, photography and ceramics form an interconnected whole in my artistic practice.

Program during Konstrundan

Presentation of the art studio and discussion about artistic work. Visitors can explore my studio, where the diversity of my working methods is highlighted through graphic art, painting, photography and ceramics. I will talk about my processes and the backgrounds of the works. A small art treat will also be offered. On Friday, a presentation of the art studio for groups that have registered in advance.
